Top Solicitor Advocate Joy Merriam hits the media again, this time talking about the case of Neil Sutherland (who served 4 years for a serious assault in 2006).  In 2017 the victim died and the AG consented to a prosecution for murder there were clear evidential difficulties in proving a causal link and the jury acquitted in two and a half hours.  Joy was invited to analyse the case and consider other ways in which the matter could have been resolved.  A fascinating watch!
